What

Instructional Design
The first step, Instructional
Design, is the process to define what you want
the student to learn, and then identify the systematic
program that will best teach and explain these
concepts and learning objectives. We work closely
with you to extract and classify all the information
necessary to develop the best training solution
for your organization.
Development
Next is the Development
stage. Obor Digital’s Computer-based Interactive
Training Engine, called “cBite”, is an easy
to use system where we work closely with the
Subject Matter Expert to develop the training
content and materials. The data is then fed
into the cBite content development engine and
combined with user interfaces and interactive
controls. The Subject Matter Expert, therefore,
does not have to learn any complexities associated
with interactive production. The cBite engine
handles it all. From there, we work with you
to add any supporting video, sound, graphics,
and interactive elements to further enhance
the training program. Content can be developed
with as much interactivity as needed, whether
it’s simulated equipment operations, or simple
test questions. We have a full production suite
of equipment and tools including video production
equipment, sound booth, 2D and 3D graphics support
and interactive simulation authoring.
Delivery
The delivery
of the final product can be delivered over the
internet as a web-based e-Learning solution
or distributed via removable media such a CD
or flash drive.
The format of
the online training solution is SCORM compliant
and dynamically produced. As a student begins
an e-Lesson, the content builds itself in “real-time”.
Each part of the learning content can be updated
instantly without traditional expensive and
labor-intensive production.
Training provided
via removable media allows students to learn
without an internet connection as well as launch
additional desktop programs associated with
the training materials.
Regardless of
whether the training is delivered online or
by removable media, the students can take the
lessons when and where they choose.
Learning Management
Through our Advanced
Learning Management System, lessons can be grouped
into courses, classes are defined and student
progress is tracked and reported. And each student’s
responses are recorded so you are able to easily
monitor how effective the program content is.
For example, if you notice a certain question
is consistently being answered incorrectly,
we can easily adjust the curriculum to ensure
they are fully understanding and learning the
subject matter. Printable certificates are available
to the students upon completion. Obor Digital’s
ALMS can be used for training content delivered
via online and for removable media.
