Engineering and 150 other trade publications,
have partnered to provide online training solutions
to the entire broadcast community. Rob Caldwell,

Dependability,
intuitiveness, and providing fully integrated
products are the cornerstones of the company’s
robust software solutions. When technical-based
organizations require management systems or training
solutions, Obor Digital has those solutions.
The Obor Digital
team is comprised of broadcast engineers, satellite
communications experts, aerospace engineers, technical
managers, electronic engineers, software architects
and developers. We’ve been involved in broadcast
engineering, military logistics and training, document
management, aerospace engineering, 3D animation,
post and live video production, interactive production,
commercial training, consumer electronics, outdoor
equipment, and even heating-ventilation and air
conditioning logistics. Our experience is vast yet
thorough, and the insight and knowledge gained from
those experiences is what propels us to design and
develop the products we know our customers depend
on. Our earliest broadcast experience
came from the late 1980’s with a post production
company that has produced more rocket launches
than all other companies combined.
In the early 1990’s, our experience,
transitioned to NASA. Those roles were responsible
for many technical educational videos, manuals,
and engineering related materials for the space
shuttle engineers and technicians. The baseline
elements to what now is Obor Digital Training
Solutions. In 1994, our experience shifted to
the first all digital post production and live
broadcast facility in the United States. The Golf
Channel, an internationally distributed cable
television network, launched and we became broadcast
pioneers, not followers.
Obor Digital was formed to provide
robust, intuitive software applications at an
enterprise level that will cohesively tie organizations
to together while providing management, cost reduction,
increased efficiencies and employee training.
Obor Digital has developing over
250 training courses for the military, specifically
to provide computer-based training materials to
instruct both military and non-military personnel
to operate, maintain and repair satellite communications
equipment. The courses are integrated using a
Learning Management System (LMS) that provides
tracking of student’s activities.
And in 2006, Obor Digital announced
its new partnership with Penton Media, publishers
of Broadcast Engineering magazine to provide online
training for the entire broadcast community in
which broadcasters have the opportunity to learn
about satellite communications, Information Technology,
and many other facets of broadcast.
The momentum continues today as
Obor Digital paves the way in developing intuitive
software solutions for military, broadcast and
service-based organizations.
